. . . Sigh . . .

Some days it\'s better to set your expectations low. Today is one of those days.

Well, the Stevenote Schillnote came and went and alas, no new Mac Pros.  It was a pretty boring keynote to be honest and for the first time since I started at Apple in 2002, I’m not even going to bother downloading it to watch.  Don’t get me wrong, the new MacBook Pro is cool and all and iWork ‘09 / iLife ‘09 both have major improvements but when it’s their last Macworld keynote and you’re expecting new Mac Pro’s it’s a bit of a downer.

Looking forward though, they have to release a revamped Mac Pro based on the Nehalem architecture at least before or during NAB of this year.  A long time to wait but then again maybe not . . . the last Mac Pro’s were quietly released to the web without any fanfare at all.  Who knows, it may show up next month.  Let’s hope it comes soon.
